7-12-10 Dept 1 was dispatched to a MVA  at the intersection of Rte 6 and 362. Units arrived to find an excavator on a trailer rolled overblocking the road and no injuries. Rte 6 was closed while the wreckers righted the trailer.

7-16-10  Dept 1 was dispatched to Kelsey St. for a structure fire ( smoke in the structure)  Chief 1 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing upon further investigation it was found to be a grease fire and the resident carried the pan outside and the smoke condition was still present . Personnel checked for any extension and ventilated the structure .

7-19-10  Dept 1 was dispatched to a haz mat incident at the Nittany Minit Mart  . Chief 1 arived to find about 25 gallons of gasoline spilled from a hose that disconnected from the pump . The Minit Mart personnel stopped the fuel flow with the emergency stop .  The fuel was contained to the parking lot and kept from the stream.

7-21-10 Dept 1 was dispatched aound 0630 to a MVA ( car over the embankment)  on Rte 6 west near the Colton Point Hotel. Units arrived on scene found car over the bank with no injuries.

7-21-10 Dept 1 was dispatched to an Auto Alarm  on south dresser road . Units were recalled .

7-21-10 Dept. 1 was dispatched to Riberolla St for a vehicle into a structure . Units arrived on scene to find vehicle into the house  with no injuries.

7-21-10 Dept 1 was dispatched to the Nittany Minit Mart for another fuel leak. Units arrived on scene to find a van with a leaking fuel tank , absorbant was placed and leak was contained to a small area on the concrete pad.

7-22-10 Dept 1 was dispatched to Leonard Harrison Park for a Pt .  unresponsive on the Turkey Path.  Units arrived on scene and found Pt. with possible heat stroke symptoms . Pt was taken to the ambulance and transported to SSMH .

7-22-10 Dept 1 was dispatched to an Auto Alarm AT SSMH , Units were recalled due to a false activation

 PENNDOT and others are urging motorists to "Steer Clear" when approaching construction, emergency scenes, etc.
