I am moving to Wellsboro soon. I have been a volunteer firefighter for 10 years
and I have had experience as a professional firefighter full time and I have had
8 years experience in EMS as well as a EMT-B and EMT-I. I would like to join WFD
when I get up there!

Since I joined my first fire department in 1982,I was always intrigued by how
your department was ran,and the large fleet that you had in your station.I seen
your articles in Firehouse magazine..or was that Fire Cheif? Correct me if I'm
wrong,but at one time,was there a total of 21 pieces of apparatus in your fleet?
And, didn't you do all of the customization of your trucks, at your station?
Very impressive.Well,years later, you still have a big fleet;but not as huge as
it was years ago. Still impressive...still Wellsboro.

I just wanna say thanks to the man who let my family see your station today,
7-4-11 about 1:30 pm. I saw this guy outside and asked him if we could visit
and he was more than happy to show us around. Sorry i didnt get his name but he
did a great job. Thanks

Hey there,I drove by late one night in early 2010 on my way to potter county to
ride my sled. You guys have a beautiful firehouse. Glad I finally found your
website. You guys have some sweet looking rigs. Looks like you guys got it under
control up there and are the one stop shop for every emergency. Next time I get

Stopped by your station this past friday after visiting the PA Grand Canyon. You
guys should be proud,not many departments have primarily American Lafrance for
apparatus. Checked out Tanker 1-5,it is a well put together rig.

Just thought I would say hi being that you guys started me in the fire service
back in 2000-2001 and went on to my hometown station in Oxford,Pa after moving
back. I had a great time with everyone there and hope all is well. Maybe I will
