Even though the finality of the accident was tragic for the family; your
professionalism and response time was great. You and your whole team must be
congratulated. My husband and I are proud to belong to your organization and be
supporters for you. We have seen your training, have marveled at the dedication
of the volunteers and can only say we are proud to be here in Wellsboro and know
that you are here.

George Barbine  - Hello and nice site.   |2010-01-28 15:39:38
Just wanted to say hello and compliment you on your site. My family and I have
a home and property just outside Wellsboro, we have been a fire service and EMS
family for close to 60 years. Have visited your station a few times, bought a
couple of shirts from your Chief last time we were in, and got a few patches
from him, too. Talked some Fire stuff and got a quick tour. Wish for continued
success and safety to all of you. We'll try to stop in again soon. Thanks,
George & Joanne Barbine, www.collingdale1.com

Hello,
I'm a Captain in Fayetteville, NC Fayetteville Fire and Emergency
Management Department and visit your area during deer season with my
father-in-law. Who has family in the Wellsboro, Mansfield’s and Blossburg,
PA. I have visited your station a few years ago. I also meet a few of your
members a few years ago at the National Fire Academy of course I would not
remember any names.

Sorry for the loss of one of your members. Stay strong
brothers and God Speed.

I enjoy visiting Eastern departments online, to see how they differ from the
West Coast. Your site is very good, but photos of members would be great and
they would increase your visibility to the entire community.

The memories of hearing the station siren; Gramps or Gram scurring to the
scanner to hear the dispatch and then telling me to run to the end of Stickley
Street because the trucks were headed that way; the Firematic Fourth of July
parades, barbeque and fireworks are still part of the fond recollections I have
of my birthplace. Visits to Wellsboro do not come often now but I'm always proud
to show my fellow brother and sister firefighters-Wellsboro, PA-Firetown USA. No
doubt had my parents had remained in Wellsboro, I'd have found myself serving
with you. Check out our department at www.gmfd.net.
