Polaris 6x6 ATV’s

We have two Polaris 6x6 ATV’s that we primarily use for wildfire season, searching for lost individuals. We also deploy these units to the streets during the Tioga County Laurel Festival Parade. At that time, these units will be staffed with One Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and One Fire Responder (FR). These unit can carry a stokes litter with backboard, a complete trauma/medical kit, fire extinguisher, and two lengths of 1 ¾” hose with nozzle. Laurel Festival Parade brings a very large amount of people into our small town and it becomes very difficult to navigate the streets in a large ambulance or fire truck. That is why we have the ATV’s pretty much ready for anything during that day.

Polaris 500 Snowmobiles

In our fleet is two 1995 Polaris 500 snowmobiles for the wintry rescues.

HazMat 99-1

We house a Hazardous Materials Trailer that is owned by the Tioga County DES. This trailer is at our station because it is centrally located and we have 6 IFSAC certified Hazardous Materials Technician level providers. Also, we are available to tow this trailer 24 hours a day with our Squad.

2007 John Deere Gator

This vehicle is equipped with a 50 gallon water tank and a 75 gallon per minute pump. It also has the ability to transport a patient via stokes.

Patrol  1-14  Wild Fire Unit

  This unit was aquired from the forestry  and placed into service as an additional  wild fire unit.  It has 300 gal. of water, a high pressure pump, hose reel,and also forestry hose and additional hose.
