This truck is primarily our “Crash Truck”. It is first due on all vehicle accidents and standby assignments. It has a full complement of EMS equipment that we would use on the scene of a vehicle accident including two backboards and stokes basket. It also has a complement of vehicle rescue equipment, such as cribbing, step chalks, high lift jacks, come-a-longs, airbags, and other useful equipment. Obviously this is our wildfire unit. During the winter months, this unit doubles as our traffic control unit. This unit was donated to us by DCNR in cooperation. We use this as our second due pumper, in or out of the boro. This truck will pump its guts out forever!! We bought this truck from Old Lycoming Township Volunteer Fire Department, where they used it as Engine 14-1 (“the city truck”). Squad 1-18 - 1997 5 man 4x4 F450 Light Duty Rescue Truck

This truck primarily responses on main street fires, whether it be our own or someone else’s. Or the truck will get out on Silo and Barn fires.
